According to the survey data, we can get the competition index that objectively reflects the competition and growth of young and medium-aged Pinus massoniana trees through the comparative screening of various competition indexes. At the same time, based on the competition index, the optimal competitive strength prediction model of young and middle-aged Pinus massoniana forest was established by analyzing the relationship between competition intensity and DBH.
