The trend of machine vibration level predictions can provide the means to replace the time-based preventive maintenance with status maintenance. Prediction of the trend by using gray prediction is a better prediction method, but there is a problem of lack of response to random factors. The article discusses the improvement of the calculation method. Finally, the paper introduces how to realize the trend forecasting technology in the industrial field.
