Objective: To master the harm of the noise caused by textile industry to female workers. Methods: The noise intensity of a textile mill workshop was tested and 288 female workers who were more than 3 years old were inspected for physical examination. Results: The more harmful to the human body is high frequency, narrow band. The incidence of high frequency hearing impairment and noise-induced deafness increased with the increase of sound pressure level (P <0.025). Different workshop hypertension, abnormal ECG positive rate also had significant difference (p <0.01). CONCLUSIONS: Noise can cause damage to the nervous system, cardiovascular system, and auditory system in humans and is related to noise intensity and occupational exposure.
