一、现刊分类排架法学校图书馆选订的现刊大致可分为四种:(1)核心期刊(2)相关期刊(3)学报期刊(4)科普期刊。按它们的先后顺序分别编号,每一种期刊都有一个固定的架位号,现刊划到后,可对号入座。此种方法的依据是: 1.学校图书馆由于专业性强,选订的期刊种类相对集中,有利架位稳定,“核心期刊”的单独摆放,在很大程度上满足了学生直接查阅与学习有直接关系的期刊的需要;“相关期刊”的归类,对开拓学生的知识面和课外活动具有积极的辅助意义。 2.学校图书馆读者群,(主要是学生)层次相对稳定,而且某一层面的读者总是以上
