“Yellow River Elephant” (the eleventh series of textbooks compiled lesson 7) is a popular science sketches. Written by scientists based on the ancient Yellow River in the paleontology hall of the Beijing Museum of Natural History displayed skeleton fossils, the origin of the Yellow River imaginary. “How do scientists imagine the origins of the Yellow River Elephant? What is the basis of their imagination?” This is the point of the full text. According to the characteristics of the textbooks, I use the method of reverse push teaching, from which students can trace the heavy and difficult points of the text by retrospective logic reasoning from unknown knowledge and reasoning of the result. This “reverse push” teaching according to three steps.
