The Luan River entry project is another large-scale urban water supply project in Tianjin following the introduction of Luan River to Tianjin and the introduction of Luan River into the pond. The Dingcheng started construction in May 1989 and officially started watering in 10 weeks in 1999. It has a total length of 103km and crosses six districts and counties.
