适用主题:社会风气;道德制度……最近,德国柏林一位女教师因收受学生礼物超标,被告上法庭,最终被罚款4000欧元(约合人民币2.9万元)。这一新闻引发热议。在一些人眼里,尊师重道,在重大节日送点礼物,对教师的付出表达敬意,似乎属人之常情,无可厚非。然而,不少国家都为向教师送礼划出“红线”。有国家明令禁止给教师送礼,也有国家给礼物价格设置上限,要求收礼后必须上报。违规者将遭受处罚,甚至可能面临牢狱之灾。

The news sparked heated debate. In the eyes of some people, respecting teachers and retribution, sending gifts at major festivals and paying tribute to teachers’ sacrifices seem to be commonplace and understandable. However, many countries are giving their teachers a gift to draw the “red line”.
