本研究运用语料库研究手段,调查高校学生研究者英语学术论文中的概念隐喻和语法隐喻使用情况,以揭示其英语学术话语的隐喻产出能力。结果显示:研究对象概念隐喻模式单一,只会使用拟人化隐喻认知模式;语法隐喻中,名词化语法隐喻使用频率最高,种类齐全;情态语法隐喻使用频率最低,种类单一,基本上是低值概率类的显性客观情态表达;动词化语法隐喻使用频率居中,且主要使用把因果关系看作过程的动词化隐喻。这表明研究对象名词化语法隐喻能力最强,概念隐喻能力、动词化语法隐喻能力和情态语法隐喻能力相对较弱。
This research investigates the use of conceptual metaphors and grammatical metaphors in English academic papers by college students to reveal the metaphorical output ability of English academic discourse by means of corpus research. The results show that the conceptual metaphor model of the research object is single, and only the anthropomorphic metaphor cognitive model is used. Among the grammatical metaphors, the nominal metaphor has the highest frequency of use and the complete variety of metaphors; the morphological metaphor has the lowest frequency of use, Probability class explicit objective modality expression; verbized grammar metaphor frequency of use, and the main use of the causal relationship as the process of verb metaphor. This indicates that the research object has the strongest ability of nominalizing grammatical metaphor, the ability of conceptual metaphor, verb metaphorical ability and modal metaphorical ability are relatively weak.
