China Electrical Engineering Society was established in 1936, is one of the oldest academic organizations in China. The main areas of work are the national power system and the power-related machinery industry. There are currently 33 provincial-level institutes and 33 professional committees. In the mid-90s, with the widespread application of computer information technology in the power industry, the approval of the headquarters of the Institute was established to establish the China Electric Power Engineering Society
