First, in the Tudor dynasty (1485-1603) in Britain, there was a type of bear and bull baiting known as “bullfighting” or “bull fighting.” People tied a cow or a bear to a stump and watched them Wrestle with the dogs to entertain. Cattle in the attack on opponents, are often forward rush, with the angle arrived on the other side, the opponent set high. The bear, on the other hand, tends to bear paws down or to attack opponents. The two animals attack their opponents in exactly the same way as the stock market, so people call the continuous rise of the market a “bull market” and the continuous decline of the market a “bear market.”
