太阳能利用研究是当代能源开发研究中相当活跃的一个领域。太阳能转换装置需要采用各种材料,存在着许多腐蚀与防护问题急待研究解决,它们是:1.采光材料的光老化和大气腐蚀,包括太阳光引起的表面衰降,水汽和大气中有害元素的腐蚀,大气尘埃的影响,热循环引起的疲劳,以及涂层的界面扩散和组份变化等。2.载热介质与集热器的交互作用,包括载热介质对集热器材料的均匀腐蚀,局部腐蚀、应力腐蚀和电化学腐蚀等。3.贮能材料与贮能装置的相容性研究,包括相变贮能材料的熔化与冷凝过程中对材料的蠕变、疲劳,应力腐蚀:热化学蓄热过程中可能出现的电化学、光化学与辐射化学腐蚀等。4.太阳能工程中结构材料的大气腐蚀和冷热疲劳等。
