目前,现代企业已经进入到以过程为导向的综合化运作时代,劳动者的综合素质越来越重要。以培养这种综合素质为目标的现代职业教育,必须针对“解决综合性实际问题”进行教学,这些综合性的教学往往涉及多领域、多学科的内容,包含技术、社会甚至环境等与工作过程相关的方方面面。因此,职业教育的职业能力培养必须打破传统学科系统化的束缚,将学习过程、工作过程与学生的能力和个性发展联系起来,在职业能力培养上应当实现三个转变。
