兰州市的主要供水含水层是范家坪组含水层,开采区地下水已受到自然、社会环境污染源的显著污染,而且尚存在继续污染的污染条件,为了使地下水和黄河水免受社会污染源的污染,必须加强环境保护工作,进行必要的环境保护工程措施;为了减轻水文地球化学环境的不利因素,以满足城市饮用水量日益增加的需要,建设将现在单一的黄河河道改进为人工黄河河道网,这样,将可扩大、诱发和激发黄河对供水含水层的补给作用。
