平和县茶叶示范场，自然条件优越，属低海拔地区，四面环山，茶园均为原农建团开垦。至1992年止共有茶园面积320亩，投产茶园210亩，种植的品种有黄、毛蟹、本山、八仙、铁观音等。黄是该场的当家品种，其高产优质试验园种植于1981年春季，面积92亩，占全场投产面积的43．8％。
