Logging while drilling is a new technology developed in the late seventies. Because it can monitor drilling pressure, torque, pump pressure, well temperature, well pressure, mud performance, oil, gas and water conditions at any time, it enables drillers to know the downhole parameters timely and accurately and make correct judgment on drilling decision making. Therefore, logging-while-drilling has great economic benefits, which is valued by many countries. The key issue for LWD is the signal path. Compared with other methods, acoustic logging while drilling has the advantages of simple equipment and low cost, but some technical problems such as low frequency interference and propagation distance have not yet been solved. Therefore, the method is still in the research and experimental stage. This paper gives the measurement results of different influences on the received signal when the sound wave propagates in the oil pipe, the length of the oil pipe, the joint, the medium where the oil pipe is located and the transmitting frequency.
