Homomorphism systems (Oppenheim, 1965a and 1965b) are non-linear systems that satisfy the general principle of superposition. This type of system is particularly suitable for separating signals that are combined by convoluting. This paper presents the problem of homomorphic deconvolution recovering seismic wavelet from a series of convolutions of the wavelet and a series of pulses. What makes this method unique is that it does not require the assumptions that are usually about a random distribution of the minimum phase wavelet and pulse.
