North America, the Soviet Union and some cold countries have conducted cold hardiness breeding pear, but the lack of research on the genetic law of pear cold resistance traits, mostly based on the genetic character of the cold hardiness of the apple analogy. I started in 1950 pear breeding new varieties of cold. In order to understand the genetic transmission of cold tolerance traits, the authors statistically analyzed the average cold hardiness and mutation rate of 2612 lines in 2563 combinations in 1963, and summarized the genetic predispositions of cold hardiness among different kinds and combinations. This provided a theoretical and numerical basis for the selection of parents for the cold-resistant breeding of pear.
