The combination of neuroscience and education has become an international trend, and new disciplines such as education neuroscience and neuro-pedagogy are in the ascendant. The 2nd International Symposium on Neuroscience for Early Childhood Education and Development was held in Hangzhou from May 26 to May 2015. The symposium was co-sponsored by Zhejiang Normal University, Zhejiang Provincial Key Research Institute of Social Sciences, ICD of University of Minnesota, Jeckmen Children’s Research Institute of University of Toronto, and Hangzhou Normal Institute of Children’s Education of Zhejiang Normal University.
