语篇连贯是一个大家耳熟能详的概念。我们所说的话和写的文章必须是连贯的,才能被接受的一方听懂、读懂。教学的重点不再是句子的结构,而是语篇的结构,以及语篇与语境的关系,语篇的功能等。在外语教学和学习中,能否在阅读和听力中把一个语篇理解为连贯的语篇,能否解释为什么一个语篇是连贯的,有哪些因素使它连贯并且在说话和写作中,能否生产出连贯的语篇,能否恰当地运用衔接机制,是外语教学和学习的主要任务之一。
Discourse coherence is a familiar concept. The words we speak and the articles we write must be coherent and understandable to the accepted party. Teaching is no longer the focus of the sentence structure, but the discourse structure, as well as the relationship between discourse and context, discourse function. In foreign language teaching and learning, can we interpret a discourse as a coherent discourse in reading and listening? Can we explain why a discourse is coherent, what factors make it coherent and in speaking and writing It is one of the main tasks of foreign language teaching and learning to produce coherent texts without failing to use the cohesion mechanism properly.
