针对水体下近距离压煤开采难题和小跨度条采实践，着重探讨了小跨度条采的失败原因和小跨度控顶开采的技术途径，并论证了采用锚固窄煤柱群实行水体下近距离缓倾斜中厚煤层控顶开采的可行性。
