在国际环境史研究中,日本的环境史研究是神秘而独特的。日本环境史研究主要是在反公害的现实需要和比较文明论研究的推动下发展起来的,其研究领域主要集中在公害史、农业环境史和文明环境史等方面。与美国、印度等国的环境史研究相比,作为一个多学科研究领域的日本环境史研究呈现出对历史唯物主义的矛盾态度、强烈的新民族主义性和实用主义性。
In the study of international environmental history, Japan’s history of environmental history is mysterious and unique. The study of Japanese environmental history is mainly developed under the actual need of anti-pollution and the research of comparative civilizations. Its research fields mainly focus on the history of environmental pollution, the history of agricultural environment and the history of civilized environment. Compared with the study of environmental history in the United States and India, the study of Japanese environmental history as a multidisciplinary field of research presents contradictory attitudes to historical materialism, intense neo-nationalism and pragmatism.
