§1. INTRODUCTION The 8080 is a complete 8-bit parallel central processing unit (CPU) for general-purpose digital computer systems. It is a monolithic LSI with an n-channel Si-gate MOS process. 8080 through an 8-bit bidirectional 3-state data bus (D_0 ~ D_7) to transfer data and internal cycle information, and
