1994年12月,武当山古建筑群以其独特、具有天才创造力的规划和建筑杰作,被联合国教科文卫组织列入《世界文化遗产名录》。武当山历史悠久,人杰地灵。在历史的车轮中,东西南北文化相互繁衍、交融、积淀,孕育了深厚、丰富、独特的武当文化。其中武当山碑刻就是武当文化遗产中的一支奇葩。武当山现存各类碑刻、摩崖共1300通,包括圣旨碑、记事碑、功德碑、墓志碑、画像碑、书法碑等。在这些遗存的碑刻中,不仅富蕴着明王朝的宫廷文化,同时也吸纳了诸多民间文化的精髓,记录了很多鲜为人知的沧桑历史、逸闻趣事。
December 1994, Wudang ancient buildings with its unique, creative genius planning and architectural masterpiece, by UNESCO included in the “World Cultural Heritage List.” Wudang Mountain has a long history, outstanding people. In the wheel of history, the cultures of East and West are multiplying, blending and accumulating each other, which gives birth to the deep, rich and unique Wudang culture. One Wudang Mountain inscriptions is a wonderful work in Wudang cultural heritage. Wudang Mountains all kinds of existing inscriptions, cliff a total of 1300 links, including the holy decree, memorabilia, merit monument, epitaph, portrait monument, calligraphy monument. In the remains of these inscriptions, it not only enriches the court culture of the Ming Dynasty, but also absorbs the essence of many folk cultures and records many little-known vicissitudes of history and anecdotes.
