Mental fatigue is a big problem for many high-level athletes and their coaches. Athletes, especially female athletes, who are often in their teens, withdrew from the special training shortly after they entered the physical and psychological heyday, failing to fully demonstrate the human potential they deserved. Their premature retirement is undoubtedly a huge loss to the construction of the American swimming team. Because mental fatigue is not inevitable, the loss is particularly painful. In fact, elite athletes from all walks of life have been able to show a high level of competition until their skills are weakened, and this decline is due to aging rather than psychological fatigue.
