通过熔融共混法制备了长玻纤增强聚丙烯/膨胀阻燃剂/硼酸锌(LGFPP/IFR/ZnB)复合材料,并测定了其阻燃性、热稳定性及力学性能;通过扫描电镜(SEM)观察燃烧后的微观形貌,考察了ZnB对LGFPP/IFR阻燃体系性能的影响。结果表明:适当用量的ZnB与IFR阻燃剂具有协同阻燃作用,可提高LGFPP/IFR体系的阻燃性、热稳定性及力学性能。在LGFPP/IFR阻燃体系中添加2%的ZnB,LGFPP/IFR/ZnB复合材料的氧指数提高到23.6%;拉伸强度、弯曲强度和冲击强度分别提高了10.7%、15.1%和31.9%。
The long glass fiber reinforced polypropylene / intumescent flame retardant / zinc borate (LGFPP / IFR / ZnB) composites were prepared by melt blending method. The flame retardancy, thermal stability and mechanical properties were measured. SEM) were used to observe the microstructure after combustion. The effects of ZnB on the properties of LGFPP / IFR flame retardant system were investigated. The results show that proper dosage of ZnB and IFR flame retardant have synergistic flame retardancy, which can improve the flame retardancy, thermal stability and mechanical properties of LGFPP / IFR system. The oxygen index of LGFPP / IFR / ZnB composites increased to 23.6% with addition of 2% ZnB in LGFPP / IFR flame retardant system. The tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength increased by 10.7%, 15.1% and 31.9% respectively.
