冲击淬火法是用高频,冲击电流、电子束、激光、等离子束等冲击能,把工件快速加热到淬火温度的淬火方法。应用最多的冲击淬火法是高频。在这种情况下,在几毫秒内(0.001~0.1秒)发出27.12兆赫的超高频,以完全矩形的脉冲感应加热工件,自冷淬火,淬火后不必回火。这种方法完全无公害,并且因淬火时间短,能量利用率高,符合成本低、省劳力的要求。
