犹太裔美国作家菲利普？罗斯的众多作品都涉及“性”，且描写“大胆露骨”，常被冠以“色情作家的称号”；同时，他写作手法怪异，内容“扑朔迷离”，结构“杂乱无章”，其作品被称为后现代实验性小说。罗斯通过另类叙事用“大胆的描写”、“杂乱的结构”和“荒诞的情节”揭示了当前社会存在的一系列严肃问题。“,”Most of the novels by Jewish American writer Philip Roth involve sex and describe in a bold way, so he is labeled as “pornographic writer”. In addition, his writing technique is ;,cird with “ complicated and confu- sing” content and “ disorderly and unsystematic” structure. Thus, his works are called postmodern experimental novels. Through weird narration, Roth reveals a series of serious problems of the society by using “bold description”, “messy structure” and “absurd plot”.
