The main theme of the Japan Architecture Society’s meeting in Tokyo on September 22, 2001 was “Question to the Architecture Industry from the Terrorist Attack on the World Trade Center.” The North Building of the World Trade Center was completed in 1970 and the South Building was completed in 1973.
