The effects of dosage of tetrabutyl titanate and water, microwave power and irradiation time on the synthesis of TiO2 nanoparticles in high pressure liquid phase were studied by resonance scattering spectroscopy and spectrophotometry. Transmission electron microscopy showed that the TiO2 nanoparticles were spherical with a particle size of about 14 nm. TiO2 nanoparticles produce two resonance scattering peaks at 350 nm and 70 0 nm. This experiment shows that the microwave is high
