5-脂氧合酶(5-lipoxygenase,5LO)是催化花生四烯酸(arachidonic acid,AA)转化为白三烯(LT)和氢氧化物5-羟基花生四烯酸(5-HETE)的关键酶。近年来,多聚不饱和脂肪酸代谢与肿瘤形成之间关系的分子学研究,为肿瘤的发生和发展提供了新的理论,也为肿瘤的预防和治疗提供了新的靶作用分子。大量研究发现抑制5LO能够抑制多种恶性肿瘤的增殖,并诱导细胞凋亡。现就5-脂氧合酶在肿瘤中的作用和机制作一综述如下。
