Early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer is difficult and the prognosis is poor. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to medical workers. Epidemiological studies of pancreatic cancer are important for the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. This article reviews the epidemiology of pancreatic cancer in the past 10 years. 1 Disease profile In Western countries, pancreatic cancer is one of the ten most common malignancies. Every year, 185,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The regions with the highest incidence are North America and New Zealand (6-11/100000), followed by Europe and Japan, and the lowest is Africa and the Indian subcontinent (<1.5/100000).
