Objective To understand the status quo and change trend of TB patients in Bao’an District of Shenzhen City from the discovery, referral and treatment, and to provide a theoretical basis for the formulation and improvement of TB prevention and treatment strategies. Methods Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the indicators of TB patients found and treated in Shenzhen Baoan District from 2005 to 2013. Results From 2005 to 2013, the registration rate of active tuberculosis patients in Bao’an District of Shenzhen City was the highest in 2009, reaching 66.71 / 100000, and then decreasing year by year, dropping to 48.71 / 100000 in 2013. Nearly 8 years, the overall rate of suspected pulmonary tuberculosis patients in place and the tracking rate continues to rise, the referral rate was no significant change. Among them, the overall arrival rate and follow-up rate of patients with suspected TB in floating population showed an increasing trend from 54.83% in 2005 and 6.73% in 2013 to 92.7% and 84.48% in 2013 respectively. The therapeutic effect of active tuberculosis patients continues to improve, especially for migrant tuberculosis patients. The negative conversion rate of smear positive patients increased from 45.42% in 2005 to 84.87% in 2013, and the successful treatment rate increased from 51.71% in 2005 to 2013 93.16% of the year. Conclusion The detection and treatment effect of tuberculosis patients in Bao’an District of Shenzhen City increased significantly. However, the proportion of retreated patients in smear positive patients was high, and the referral rate of patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis was still low.
