1、试验证明长泰砂仁花粉粒发育不受年龄大小及阴蔽度强弱影响,花粉粒发育状况都很正常,一般萌发率高达86.59%—99.08%。当前生产上存在结果率低与花粉萌发率似无关系。 2、砂仁花粉粒在气温25℃条件下,置于15%蔗糖加0.0005%硼酸的培养基中,培养10分钟花粉粒开始萌发,2小时花粉管伸长至互相交义,花粉管末端由尖型膨大成圆形,并有黄色稠浓的内含物,标志着花粉管的胞壁将破裂进入授精阶段,花粉粒已几乎全部萌发,萌发率达99.06%。 3、在15%蔗糖浓度下加少量硼酸,可刺激花粉粒萌发。因此在砂仁开花前后喷施适当硼酸及蔗糖是有利于受精及提高结果率。 4、砂仁花粉粒萌发率与花粉粒的成熟度关系极大,已成熟的花粉粒萌发率可达90.48%,比未成熟的高11.67倍。试验证实上午9时以后散粉盛期花药完全爆裂的花粉粒已充分成熟,可以做为人工杂交育种授粉材料。 5、砂仁花粉粒的萌发力与贮存时间成反比,贮存时间越长萌发力越低。但从花药完全爆裂到第二天13时30分,萌发率还可保持在75%。说明仍有传粉受精作用。
