British families have long known the tradition of “eating tables as classrooms”: Parents began to tangible or intangible “food education” from the very first day they were on the table. The purpose is to help children develop good eating habits, learn to eat good etiquette, with a variety of commendable qualities or character. Encourage children to eat their own meals. When a child grows from one year old to one and a half years old, he begins to like to drink soup with a spoon. The vast majority of British parents believe that if children want to eat by themselves, they signify a longing for “independence of personality” and should give full encouragement.
