中国土壤学会第五次代表大会暨学术年会于1983年11月27日至12月3日在西安举行。出席会议总人数为504人,提交大会的论文和摘要共700多篇。大会印发了题为《中国土壤的合理利用和培肥》的论文集三册。会议检阅1979年以来我国土壤学界所进行的大量工作,交流了经验,共议如何进一步发展土壤科学,更好地为国民经济建设服务。除进行大会学术报告外,会议还按八个学科或专题组分别宣读论文和开展热烈的讨论。现将各学科或专题组的学术活动情况简介如下,供广大读者参考。——编者 The Fifth Congress of Chinese Society of Soil Science and Academic Annual Conference was held in Xi’an from November 27 to December 3, 1983. The total number of people attending the meeting was 504, with over 700 papers and abstracts submitted to the conference. The conference printed three volumes entitled “The Rational Utilization and Cultivation of Soil in China”. The conference reviewed a great deal of work carried out by the soil science community in our country since 1979, exchanging experiences and discussing how to further develop soil science and better serve the national economy. In addition to the academic report of the conference, the conference also conducted dissertations and heated discussions respectively according to eight disciplines or special groups.
