Objective To investigate the incidence of complications of secondary cesarean section and non-scarred cesarean section in scar-pregnant uterus. Methods A total of 102 cases of secondary cesarean section from July 2013 to May 2014 in our hospital were selected as observation group. Another 102 cases of non-scarring cesarean section were selected as control group. The two groups of maternal complications and postoperative related situation were retrospectively analyzed. Results The causes of cesarean section in both groups were the highest in social factors, the observation group had more placenta previa, the control group had more fetal abnormalities and fetal distress, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, delivery time and the incidence of complications after cesarean section in observation group were significantly different from those in control group (all P <0.05). Conclusion The incidence of cesarean section complications in pregnant women with scar uterine pregnancy is much higher than that of non-scar maternal women. Cesarean section without clinical indication should be strictly controlled in clinic.
