人与机器的结合是科幻小说中最具诱惑力的情节之一。从仿生女人到机器警察,这些人造生物有幸拥有不会垮掉的身体和进化得登峰造极的大脑。但是,在现实世界中它们毕竟尚未出现。对于某些未来主义者来说,可能出现的最诱人的东西是科幻小说中所谓的～一种“湿件”,即人脑与计算机的联系件。这里的“湿”指的是人脑。“湿件”一词是从“硬件”和“软件”引伸而来的。通过所谓的“湿件”,人脑将与计算机直接相联。计算机可以完全地阅读到人的脑电波,了解人的所有思想——包括庸俗的和高尚的。
