徐光启(1562~1633),明代未期数学家,上海 人。徐光启早年从事过农业生产,青年时代在上海、广 东、广西等地以教书为业,每到一处,他都十分注意了 解农业技术和各种实用知识。他的一大贡献是把中国 历代农书的精华、劳动人民的生产经验、欧洲的先进 科学知识以及自己长期研究的成果融为一体,编辑成 《农政全书》六十卷。这是一部至今仍有参考价值的重 要农学著作。该书刻印后不久就流传到日本。
Xu Guangqi (1562 ~ 1633), Ming mathematician, Shanghai. Xu Guangqi engaged in early agricultural production, youth in Shanghai, Guangdong, Guangxi and other places to teach as a business, wherever he went, he paid great attention to understand agricultural technology and a variety of practical knowledge. His great contribution is to integrate the essence of the ancient Chinese agricultural books, working people’s production experience, European advanced scientific knowledge and their own long-term research results into one, edited into “the whole book of agriculture,” 60 volumes. This is an important agronomy that still has a reference value today. The book came to Japan shortly after it was carved.
