我队在多年使用小口径金刚石钻进的实践中，积累了一定的生产经验，钻探技术经济指标不断提高。与此同时也遇到了不少有待解决的问题。长期以来，我们所使用的φ76和φ56的普双钻具，因其内外管的长度配合一直不合适，间隙非长即短（即卡簧座与钻头内台阶的间隙），影响了野外生产。后来我们在全队统一了双管接手、卡簧座、短接的规格尺寸，将钻具重新计算加工装配后，结果仍达不到要求。查其原因，主要是丈量钻具有误差，所采购的钻头、扩孔器虽为定型产品，但尺寸也有误差，这样就使钻具间隙或大或小，满足不了4—5mm的要求。
