本文是首篇比较全面地研究英国马克思主义文学批评家玛格特·汉尼曼学术成就以及她与文化唯物论独特关系的论文。文章首先论述了汉尼曼的思想学行,总结分析她在英国左翼运动史、英国文艺复兴时期的文学以及布莱希特的戏剧等三个领域取得的斐然成就;既而揭示出其文学批评特色:一方面持守传统马克思主义的社会历史分析方法,另一方面在某种程度上推动了新兴的文化唯物论批评在20世纪80年代的兴起。本文还指出,由于她毕生持守老左派的政治路线和立场,导致后世的相关研究著作忽视了她对文化唯物论的开拓性贡献。
This is the first essay to study the academic achievements of Margaret Hanneman, a British Marxist literary critic, and her unique relationship with cultural materialism. The article first discusses Hannemann’s thought-making course, summarizes her achievements in the three fields of British history of the left-wing movement, the English Renaissance literature and Brecht’s drama, and thus reveals its literary criticism features : On the one hand, the traditional Marxist social and historical analysis method, on the other hand to some extent, promoted the rise of emerging cultural materialism criticism in the 1980s. The article also points out that due to her lifelong hold on the political line and position of the old leftists, her later research books neglected her pioneering contributions to cultural materialism.
