于 1 997年 1 0月在厦门西海域采集纤毛虫常见种———具沟急游虫 ,采用改进的荧光标记法在实验室条件下进行纤毛虫的摄食速率研究。结果表明 ,改进的荧光标记法具有操作简便、节省昂贵的荧光染料、固定液浓度易于掌握等优点。用该方法在常温下 ( 2 2℃ )测得纤毛虫对细菌和微藻的摄食速率分别为 4.2 2 4pgC/(cell·h)和 5.0 pgC/(cell·h)。将此实验结果外推至自然海区 ,可得台湾海峡南部夏季纤毛虫对细菌、微藻的同化率分别为 0 .0 1 76mgC/(m3·d)和 0 .0 2 0 1mgC/(m3·d) ;北部冬季分别是 0 .0 2 38mgC/(m3·d)和 0 .0 2 72mgC/(m3·d)。在实验条件下 ,温度较低时 ( 1 4— 2 6℃ )对纤毛虫的摄食速率影响较大 ,但在较高温度 ( 2 6—34℃ )时差异不明显。
In the year of October 1997, the common species of ciliates was collected in the west sea area of Xiamen --- an emergency beetle. The feeding rate of ciliates was studied under the laboratory conditions by the improved fluorescent labeling method. The results showed that the improved fluorescent labeling method has the advantages of simple operation, saving expensive fluorescent dyes, easy to grasp the concentration of the fixed liquid and the like. Using this method, the feeding rates of ciliates to bacteria and microalgae at room temperature (22 ℃) were 4.2 2 4pgC / (cell · h) and 5.0 pgC / (cell · h), respectively. Extrapolating this experimental result to the natural sea area, the assimilation rates of summer ciliates to bacteria and microalgae in southern Taiwan Strait were 0.0176 mgC / (m3 · d) and 0.0201 mgC / (m3 · d); winter in the north were 0.0228 mgC / (m3 · d) and 0.0222 mgC / (m3 · d), respectively. Under the experimental conditions, the feeding rate of ciliates was significantly affected when the temperature was low (1 4- 2 6 ℃), but the difference was not obvious at higher temperature (2 6-34 ℃).
