Oral information is very rich about the traumatic Shangganling campaign 60 years ago, but the original literature is extremely rare among the people. Tian Wenjiang, an 88-year-old man in Shijiazhuang, has so far kept a thick note of Shangganling, a book he wrote down in the cave of the Korean battlefield. When the enemy carried out a germ warfare, our army soldiers returned to China to bathe and disinfect them. All the personal belongings were burned away. This note survived. It is a miracle.
