氧化应激是指机体在遭受各种有害刺激时,体内的氧化分子如活性氧自由基(ROS)和活性氮自由基(RNS)产生过多,超出了氧化物的清除能力,产生了氧化还原的失衡状态,是导致疾病的重要因素之一。抗氧化剂(Antioxidants)能够清除自由基或阻断自由基参与氧化反应,显著降低氧化应激水平。近年来,发现抗氧化剂不仅仅与自由基作用,还可参与机体其他生理功能的调节。本文就抗氧化剂对机体的作用进行综述。
