The use of this technique increases the strangeness of poetry and gives readers a strange feeling. This paper analyzes the application of “Defamiliarization ” ’s poetic language and “unfamiliar ” in the translation of the “Wasteland ” in response to this question, hoping to provide reference for the application of “defamiliarization ” in poetry translation.
