北京林业大学韩烈保教授主持的“优质抗逆草坪草的高效育种技术及新品种的培育”项目,最近被列入国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)。这标志着我国的草坪草研究,开始进入现代生物技术育种新阶段。 “研究在于建立草坪草的高效育种技术体系,培育出优质高抗的草坪草新品系,并应用于城市绿化、运动场草坪和水土保持,尤其是推动西北地区的绿化、生态建设和环境改善。”韩烈保教授告诉笔者。
The project of “Breeding of High-quality Anti-turfgrass Efficient Breeding Techniques and Cultivation of New Varieties” moderated by Professor Han Liebao of Beijing Forestry University has recently been included in the National Hi-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program). This marks the turfgrass research in our country and begins to enter the new stage of modern biotechnology breeding. “The research is to establish an efficient breeding system for turfgrasses and cultivate a new line of turfgrass with high quality and high resistance. It is also applied to urban greening, stadium lawn and soil and water conservation, especially to promote afforestation, ecological construction and environmental improvement in the northwestern region.” Professor Han Liebao told the author.
