用放射免疫测定法分析了服棉酚雄性大白鼠血清睾丸酮和LH的含量。数据表明,无论是幼龄大白鼠服棉酚2个月和服棉酚2个月停服1个月的,或是性成熟大白鼠服棉酚1个月和停服棉酚1个月的以及服棉酚6个月的血清睾丸酮食量都明显低于同月龄对照大白鼠的或服棉酚前的水平。但血清LH含量没有明显改变。血清睾丸酮含量降低和体重增长以及睾丸生精上皮退化与否都没有明显相关。根据现有的资料可以认为,服棉酚大白鼠血清睾丸酮含量减低,是由于棉酚直接作用于睾丸间质细胞的结果。停服棉酚后睾丸酮含量,除个别动物外均未见明显回升,可能由于棉酚在体内有一定的积累所致。
