日本松干蚧Matsucoccus matsumurae(Kuwana)是我国松林的重要害虫之一,其体微小,习性隐蔽,给防治工作带来不少困难。据作者近几年的调查,我国松干蚧的天敌资源十分丰富,在山东省文登县北海林场发现的黄褐情蚁Formica letmani Bondroit(1917)就是其中的一种。它对松干蚧雌成虫的捕食量很大,对当地松干蚧的大发生起到较理想的控制作用。我们从1982年5月开始,对此种蚂蚁的捕食特性作了一些初步调查,现简报如下。一、形态特征工蚁(图1):体长4.5～6.0毫米,体黄褐色,头顶和胸背深色,足浅色。头前额粗糙,着生稀疏短毛,无颊毛。触角膝状,12节,第一节最长,约等于第2～10节之和。复眼黑色,单眼三个呈等三角形排列。上颚发达,下颚须和下唇须褐色,下额须较长,为下唇须的两倍。胸部褐色,节间处浅黄褐色,并披有细毛。胸部三节愈合紧密,
Matsucoccus matsumurae (Kuwana) is one of the most important pests in pine forest in China. Its body is small and its habit is hidden, which brings many difficulties in prevention and control work. According to the author’s investigation in recent years, the natural enemies of pine and scale are very rich in China. Formica letmani Bondroit (1917), one of them found in Beihai Forest Farm, Wendeng County, Shandong Province, is one of them.
