钕铁硼永磁材料是1983年由日本住友公司研制成的第三代稀土永磁材料,它具有很高的磁能积和高的矫顽力.由于这种材料的出现,使电工、电机行业出现了很多新的产品。使用钕铁硼永磁材料制作永磁电机就是其中之一。我国是富稀土国家,稀土蕴藏量约占全世界80%,同时,我国又是缺少钴资源的国家,所以使用稀土元素代替钴作成高性能的永磁材料,具有重要的战略意义和应用前景。沈阳工业大学唐任远教授等所开展的稀土永磁电机设计研究,取得了一系列研究成果。
