现代企业之间的竞争,是产品质量和产品成本的竞争,归根到底是职工素质的竞争。谁拥有高素质的职工队伍,谁就能在激烈的市场竞争中立于不败之地。基于这样的认识,现代发达资本主义国家的企业都十分重视职工的教育培训,都将其作为企业管理工作的密不可分的重要组成部分,其中,美国的企业具有一定的代表性。本文介绍了美国企业职工培训的形式、方法及其特点,仅供参考。美国企业职工培训的演进在本世纪初泰罗的“科学管理”理论产生之前,美国职工的教育和能力开发,基本是在企业外部,主要依靠社会教育,以职工本人为主体进行的。那时能力开发、接受教育被视为职工个人的私事。1911年泰罗《科学管理原理》一书的出版,标志着“科学管理”理论的诞生。“对
The competition among modern enterprises is the competition of product quality and product cost. In the final analysis, it is the competition of quality of employees. Whoever has a high-quality workforce will be invincible in fierce market competition. Based on this understanding, companies in modern developed capitalist countries attach great importance to the education and training of employees, and they all regard it as an inseparable and important part of corporate management.
