揭煤钻孔施工一直是井下钻孔施工的难点,而井筒揭煤钻孔更是难点中的难点,由于井筒空间小,钻机挪移不方便,给打钻带来极大的困难,在淮南矿业集团地质勘探处施工的潘三矿深部进风井井筒揭5-2煤、4-2煤区域措施钻孔中,克服了煤层瓦斯压力大、下向钻孔封孔难、施工环境恶劣等不利因素的影响。针对井筒内空间小,钻机挪移不便的困难,工程选用短机身钻机施工。同时在井筒迎头上方4m处搭建一个平台,用来摆放钻机油箱、开关等设备,实现辅助设备与机身分置,尽量让施工空间、安全距离更宽裕。同时使用了多种新工艺,提高施工效率的同时,保证了钻孔质量。仅用时25天完成钻孔数348个,总进尺1万米,创下了潘三井筒揭煤单机台效新高。
